How should a disposable syringe be disposed of after use?

Composition of Disposable syringe

Syringes are usually divided into three parts: needle, syringe and core rod.

The syringe and core rod of a disposable syringe are usually made of plastic, with a rubber plug on the core rod, and the needle is made of plastic and metal.

Used disposable syringes are medical waste. Article 16 of the “Medical Waste Management Regulations” stipulates that “medical and health institutions shall collect medical waste generated by their units in a timely manner and place them in special packaging or sealed containers that are leak-proof and sharp-proof according to their categories.
